1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the rights and obligations between you as a user of the services and the operator of the website www.privatetoursczech.cz (“Website”).

By using this Website or booking services through it, you agree to these Terms.
2. Description of the Service
Our Website offers:
- Private day trips and multi-day trips by car from Prague with an English-speaking driver (the driver is not a licensed tour guide),
- Private walking tours of Prague with a licensed guide,
- Additional services as offered in the trip planner, such as a licensed local guide for a specific date (on request), child seats or an overnight stay on multi-day trips.
Reservations can be made via an online form or by email.
The binding price is the price shown in the trip planner at the time of booking for the selected itinerary and services. ‘From’ prices shown on other pages of the Website and in third-party listings (for example Google) are indicative only. Surcharges for services not included in the booked itinerary (for example waiting time, an overnight stay or a change of route) are agreed with the customer before the service is provided.
3. User Accounts and Reservations
Reservations do not require account registration.
Partners interested in collaboration must register and await approval from the provider.
Each reservation becomes binding upon confirmation by the provider via email or other electronic means.
4. Payment Terms
The price is paid on the spot to the driver or, for walking tours, to the guide, at the end of the service — in cash or by payment card. No deposit or advance payment is required.
Prices are final — no VAT or other charges are added. The price is paid in the currency selected at the time of booking. Customers will receive a payment confirmation.
5. Reservation Changes and Cancellations
Customers may change or cancel their reservation via the cancellation link in the confirmation email, or by contacting support via email or phone.
Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the scheduled trip.
For cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure, a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the reservation price may apply.
In case of no-show without notice, no refund is provided.
The provider reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the service due to force majeure (e.g. accident, driver illness, vehicle malfunction) — the customer will be informed as soon as possible and offered an alternative solution.
6. Liability and Limitations
We are committed to delivering services professionally, safely, and in accordance with applicable regulations.
However, we are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when booking. In case of intentional false information or inappropriate behavior, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation without compensation.
7. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with the service, please contact us as soon as possible at: booking@privatetoursczech.cz
We handle each complaint individually and strive for a fair resolution.
We recommend submitting complaints within 5 working days after the trip, including a description of the issue and any supporting documentation (e.g. photos, email correspondence).
8. Final Provisions
These Terms may be unilaterally amended by the provider. The new version becomes effective upon publication on the Website.
By using the Website, you agree to the current version of the Terms.
Legal relationships are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
Out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes: a consumer has the right to out-of-court settlement of a consumer dispute arising from a contract for the service. The competent body is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), Štěpánská 796/44, 110 00 Prague 1, www.coi.cz, online form: adr.coi.cz.
