A private day trip from Prague with us costs one price for the whole car, not per person, for up to 8 people. The price for the whole car and the total trip time are shown on the page of each trip; all trips are on our private tours page. The price includes a Hyundai Staria with an English-speaking driver, fuel, tolls and parking; entrance tickets and meals are extra. You book online in the trip planner with no deposit and pay the driver on the day (cash or card).
Below you will find what the price covers, what it does not, ten example prices and how our private walking tours in Prague are priced. Prices can change, so the figure that counts is always the one on the trip page or in the trip planner.
How the price works: one price for the whole car
The price is for the whole car, not per person. You travel in a private Hyundai Staria 4×4 with room for up to 8 passengers and their luggage, and the car is for your group only. Whether you are two or eight, the price for the car stays the same, so the more of you share it, the less each person pays.
The final price for the car includes:
- the car for your group only, with pickup anywhere in Prague (hotel, apartment or another address) at the time you choose when booking
- an English-speaking driver who knows the places you visit
- fuel, motorway tolls and parking
- Britax Römer child seats, free on request

What the price does not include
- Entrance tickets to castles, museums or the ossuary. You pay them on the spot.
- Meals and drinks.
- A licensed tour guide. This is an optional extra, see below.
We do not book tickets, restaurants or tastings in advance. On the day, your driver helps you buy tickets on the spot and can call ahead to a restaurant to check whether they have a table.

We also run two-day trips with a night away: Vienna and Bratislava, Salzburg and Hallstatt, Kraków and Auschwitz, and Budapest; accommodation for guests is not included on those. All our trips and their prices are on the private tours page.

Can you change the route?
Yes. On a ready-made trip you can change the order of the stops and how long you stay at each one. If you have your own plan, build the route in the trip planner, which shows the price for the whole car for your route. You book online yourself. On the day, you can change the route at any time; if it gets longer or the driver waits longer, it can cost extra.
Booking, payment and cancellation
- No deposit. You pay on the day of the trip, directly to the driver.
- Cash or card, in Czech crowns (EUR or USD on request).
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup.

Adding a licensed guide
Your driver is not a licensed guide and does not give commentary on history and sights. If you want commentary, we can arrange a licensed local guide as an optional extra. We send you a price for your date and usually confirm within 24 hours. If no guide is available, the trip goes ahead without one and you pay nothing for the guide. Is it worth the money?
